Our bespoke grooming salon, is a brand-new tranquil space thoughtfully designed with your dog’s comfort and wellbeing in mind. We believe grooming should be a calm and positive experience, which is why we have created a relaxing environment where every dog can feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. We are crate free!
From gentle handling to personalised one-to-one attention, each visit is tailored to suit your dog’s individual needs, ensuring they leave looking beautiful, feeling relaxed, and happy to return.
Meet the Owner
Hi, I’m Laura, the owner of The Barking Bubble. My passion for working with animals began from a young age, and after leaving school I completed a City and Guilds Level 3 Animal Management qualification at A-level. Following this, I spent many years working in the Biomedical industry before deciding to leave the corporate world behind to pursue my true passion — working with dogs and creating a business dedicated to their care and wellbeing.
I completed the iPET Network Diploma in Dog Grooming and Salon Management at the FDM Academy in St Ives, Cambridge, where I trained under Crufts award-winning grooming tutor Kara Boyd. My training provided me with the grooming skills, handling techniques, and business knowledge needed to create a calm, professional, and caring grooming environment.
At The Barking Bubble, my goal is to provide every dog with a safe, comfortable, and stylish grooming experience tailored to their individual needs. I love seeing each dog’s personality shine through and building their confidence so they leave feeling relaxed, happy, and looking their very best.
